There’s one position, an online coordination job. The qualifications seem to match me pretty well.

Did they state the salary?

ไม่ชัด เขาเขียนแค่ว่าค่าตอบแทนตามประสบการณ์

Not clearly. They only wrote that compensation depends on experience.

ฟังดูมาตรฐานดีนะ แล้วจะสมัครไหม

That sounds pretty standard. So are you going to apply?

สมัครแน่ แต่อยากอ่านรายละเอียดให้ครบก่อน เดี๋ยวส่งเอกสารไม่ครบแล้วเสียเวลา

Definitely, but I want to read all the details first. Otherwise I might send incomplete documents and waste time.

จริง เดี๋ยวนี้บางที่ยังถามด้วยว่ามีสิทธิ์ทำงานในไทยไหม

True. These days some places even ask whether you have the right to work in Thailand.

ใช่ ต้องตอบคำถามก่อนกดสมัครอีก

Exactly. You have to answer extra questions before you can even apply.

I hope you get a job that really suits you.

ขอบใจ อย่างน้อยได้คุยกับใครสักคนก็เป็นกำลังใจแล้ว

Last night I spent almost the whole evening looking at electric ovens.

Seriously? You’re only buying one oven.

Well, if I’m going to buy one, I want to look at it carefully.

อยากได้ขนาด 60 ลิตร ปรับอุณหภูมิได้สูงสุด 250 องศา แล้วก็มีระบบลมร้อน

I want a 60-liter model that can go up to 250 degrees and also has a convection system.

That sounds very complete.

ยังไม่พอ ฉันอยากได้ประตูกระจกนิรภัย 2 ชั้นด้วย

That’s not all. I want a double-layer safety-glass door too.

โอ้โห เอาแบบพร้อมใช้งานเลยนะ

Wow, you want the full ready-to-use setup.

ใช่ แล้วต้องมีอุปกรณ์ครบชุดในกล่อง ไม่อยากมาซื้อเพิ่มทีหลัง

Yes, and it needs to come with a complete set of accessories in the box. I don’t want to buy extra things later.

I get it. If you find a model that checks every box, it’s worth buying.

นั่นแหละ ตอนนี้เลยยังเปรียบเทียบอยู่

Exactly. That’s why I’m still comparing them now.

เมื่อเช้าฉันเห็นข่าวว่าน้ำมันดีเซลจะลดลงอีก 3 บาทต่อลิตร

This morning I saw the news saying diesel prices will go down by another 3 baht per liter.

ก็ดีสิ ช่วงนี้อะไรๆ ก็แพงไปหมด

That’s good. Everything is getting so expensive these days.

ใช่ ถ้าค่าน้ำมันลงจริง ค่าของก็น่าจะเบาลงบ้าง

Right. If fuel really goes down, the cost of things might ease a little too.

หวังว่าจะเป็นแบบนั้นนะ

I hope so.

แต่ข่าวแนวนี้ชอบมีคำยากๆ เต็มไปหมด

But this kind of news is always full of difficult words.

ก็พวกคำแบบ กลไกตลาด อะไรพวกนี้ไง อ่านแล้วต้องหยุดคิดนิดนึง

Words like market mechanism and things like that. I have to stop and think for a second when I read them.

จริง ข่าวชอบเขียนให้ดูเป็นทางการไว้ก่อน

True. News writing always likes to sound formal first.

เมื่อเช้าฉันยังง่วงๆ อยู่บน BTS ได้ยินแค่ว่า สถานีถัดไป แต่ไม่ได้ฟังชื่อสถานีเลย

I was still sleepy on the BTS this morning. I only heard ‘next station’ and didn’t even catch the station name.

ดีนะที่ไม่เลยไปไกล

Good thing you didn’t go too far past your stop.

พรุ่งนี้วันหยุด ฉันว่าจะนอนต่อยาวๆ เลย

Tomorrow’s a day off, so I’m planning to sleep in and keep sleeping for a while.

Good. Get some rest.

Last night I called my parents too.

Even though we didn’t talk for long, I felt much better afterward.

บางทีแค่นั้นก็เป็นกำลังใจแล้ว

Sometimes that alone is encouraging.

Yes. The older I get, the more I understand that.

ฉันก็เหมือนกัน ช่วงนี้พอเหนื่อยก็ชอบฟังเพลงเงียบๆ มากกว่าออกไปไหน

Same here. Lately, when I’m tired, I’d rather listen to quiet music than go out anywhere.

ใช่ เหมือนเตือนให้ค่อยๆ ดูชีวิตไปทีละนิด

Exactly. It’s like a reminder to look at life slowly, little by little.

There are some things we still may not understand today.

แต่เดี๋ยววันหนึ่งมันก็ค่อยๆ ชัดขึ้นเอง

But one day they gradually become clearer on their own.

ฉันว่าชีวิตก็เป็นแบบนั้นแหละ ทั้งเรื่องงาน เรื่องเงิน เรื่องครอบครัว

I think life is like that: work, money, family, all of it.

ใช่ ค่อยๆ เรียนรู้ไป ไม่ต้องรีบทุกอย่างในวันเดียว

Yes. We just keep learning bit by bit. We don’t have to rush everything in one day.
